 Attention artists and fans:
I have just completed a feature that will allow artists to upload pictures that can be used to create a 'custom' MySpace layout. Many of you already have a MySpace account, and this is a great way to tell your friends at MySpace about your favorite unsigned band web bands. All you have to do is cut and paste the code from the artists UBW page into your MySpace bio and your MySpace site will be redesigned to promote that artist!! It's extremely simple, and you can preview the code before you make changes to your MySpace profile. Included are 2 pictures, and a Flash Player to play the artists songs.
 Artists, to enable this feature on your site, you will need to upload 2 images to your unsigned band web page with the correct title(s) as mentioned below:
 main (this is the pic that will appear at the top right of the MySpace profile, a rectangular band pic will work best here)
background (This should be a 'large' picture, but with a filesize less than 50kb, a large square pic will work best here)
main2 (Same as above, but with a light background)
background2 (Same as above, but with a light background)
After you have uploaded at least one (SET) of pictures, a new "promote" link will appear at the top of your artist page. The names of the images must match those above exactly or the link won't appear. Once you've got the images uploaded, you can experiement with different images to find the best looking combination for your bands MySpace profile.
Bands, after you're setup, post a link in this thread so we can have a look.

Does UBW have a myspace? it seems like many websites are creating myspaces for the actual site.
I just thought I'd ask.... |
