Well.. It's been a LONG!!! two days. I was conducting a standard server software upgrade last night and was looking forward to getting the software that runs this site updated. Well, unfortunately, things didn't go as planned... What was supposed to be a casual upgrade turned into a nightmare, and ultimately the server totally crashed. The upgrades are needed to keep the site secure and to build additional features. It's usually not a big deal to update the software and I've done it many times in the past with much better results.
Long story short, it took until now to restore our filesystem, database, and get everything updated to the most current versions of our operating system.
I want to apologize to everyone for the unplanned outtage and let you know we take our uptime very seriously. Prior to this server crash, I can't think of a single pro-longed outtage we've ever had. I restored right up to the point where the server crashed so all the bands, songs, forum posts, etc.. should be back up and running.
If you see anything odd please report it in this thread and I'll get it sorted. I will be working on making sure everything is setup correctly over the next couple of hours.
