hi,
Have joined up recently and have written some songs in a rock genre and would love some honest opinions. This is the first time I have recorded my singing voice before as I never been confident enough in it and would really appreciate your comments.

Hi Phil & Welcome to the Unsigned Band Web!!
I'm listening to 'If I had known" as I type. I really like the way the song develops and I think you've got a really unique voice. It reminds me a touch of the lead singer for 'mother love bone'. The voice and melody do a good job of conveying emotion and the recording is well done.
Looking forward to hearing more!! |

Hi Phil, welcome. I listened to your tunes several days back. I can tell you put alot of work into the songs and arrangements. the vocals honestly weren't my favorite - strained in some places, but we're not all David Coverdale (actually I could hear his voice on the first tune which I'm listening to now). thanks for posting. smili |

Thanks guys for replying so soon and for taking the time to listen and comment. I do have a couple of other songs which I'll post up later but I think the next stage will probably be some vocal coaching and a bit more practice!
