I have been looking after a number of bands, but I had problems helping with setting the correct songs together. Sometimes we would try a song and it was total flop and then six months later it is a success, but most times a flop isnt tried again.
And of course after a total flop, you are so much more agressive in the song filtering, because you sure dont want another flop.
Since I am working with several bands, I startet relizing the magnitude of this problem. But after a night on Internet I found this site http://www.mytunetopia.com/, it provides a great place for testing some songs before taking out the flop.
Yes I know alot would say, do a gig and take the bad critizme and all that, but why put the bands through it, not all are strong enough to handle it.
Well I am using this site from now on, and it is a great place to test new songs and musics.

interesting post, i will visit that site and use it if it's not a paid site, in addition to what u said i think that u must just listen your first feeling after listening a song one week after without listening it between the moment you decided the work is over and the moment you'll judge it...just listen to your heath he will say you what worth the track by giving you emotions,(a song that don't give emotion won't be a hit), don't let your mind abuse your opinion, just listen it without stress and ask your friends on msn for an example what they think, if they don't like it and that they are not saying you the quality of your work is high then it's a shit... (ask them if they like this or that in your song but do not ask "is it good ?" cause even your best friend could lie to to you just because he/she just like you and this not a crime to cheers your freind but it's an empty lie with no fruits apart the nothing) |
