I've added two new songs and I'd love some comments.

Thanks in advance.

"monster, bored" really blew me away. i was a little put-off by the vocal effects at first (just because i like to hear a clean voice), but i ended up really liking by the second time it came around. the guitars are great.

"Obs." was cool too.. again, i really like the guitars, but deep down i was really hoping for some strong vocals to kick in.

"Poetry" - another good one. By the time I got to this song I was wondering if the vocals had so many effects because that was the style you were going for or if you just weren't confident with your vocals.

I'd love to be able to make out the lyrics because the melodies are cool. I used to use a lot of effects on my vocals (on stage even) because i was nervous of what people thought about what i was saying.. or if they "got it".. and eventually i just stopped caring and I get a really great response from people who like the lyrics.

Anyway.. I would buy your album, but (for me personally) I wouldn't be able to listen to it all the time. That doesn't mean it's bad. I really enjoyed your stuff.. but I'm a singer and I tend to listen to more music with lyrics and vocals that I can sing a long with or that speak to me emotionally.

Awesome stuff though.. sorry to ramble.

I'd love to hear what you think of our stuff!

Thanks for the reply. I listened to your music, and I liked it.

My favorite is "Sets the Sun". Loved the intro and right after when it turns "epic". It's a little quirky, not the classic verse/chorus/verse, and I like that. For some reason it made me think of Fugazi, even though it's not that similar.

The same thing goes for "On to the May", but I liked "Sets the Sun" more.

"Red Smalltalk and the Lava Rose" is a great title, but I felt the music missed something. Can't tell you what though.

Three great songs, especially "Sets the Sun". Keep it up.

monster bored was really good after I listened to it a few times...
Poetry was good but a bit too many effects. Overall though it was a pretty fun song.
Obs good tune, good guitars probobly my favorite after the first listen. Your music is not especially accessible but I don't think that is a problem because I don't like accessible music! I would def. buy your stuff, props to good music!

wow.. i really liked the vocals. they're still subtle, but having them clear like that really adds a nice emotional quality to the song.

A+

ps - sent you a myspace friend request. Very Happy

I love you charltonsect. You're my #1 (positive-)feedback-giver Very Happy .

I've actually been to Ohio once. I was on a train to Chicago passing there. If I'd known you back then I'd got off the train to see you guys play.

Good luck and all that...

Very original and groundbreaking. You guys aren't afraid of trying something new and different. I like that. It's too bad more bands didn't possess that fearlessness.
