These are some lyrics I wrote last night. They took about twenty minutes to complete, start to finish, and they were easily the easiest lyrics I've ever written. Every part was written in under a minute, and it's definitely a composition directly from the heart. Hope some people on here can enjoy it. Later!

Life was new life.
Life went along.
-carried me in it, like the tune to a song.
Life was confusing.
Life became a mess.
-mangled me in it, like a fish in a net.
Life fell apart.
Life stood me still.
-battered me broken, like a man trying to kill.
Life was refreshed.
Life let me in.
-welcomed me warmly, like the world at birth did.
(Chorus):
But here and now, everything is stirring.
Disorganization blurs my name.
(There is no way-) There is no way for me to hurry;
no choice for me to take, but to wait.
(Short Interlude, envisioned.)
I’m not scared, not gone, not torn,
not about to abort this.
-not lost, not hopeless, not done.
I am pissed off.
But I still love this life,
and I still love myself again.
I’m still on the way-
the way to restoration completed.
(Double Chorus, with the second omitting “But” from the first line.)
(Short Interlude, envisioned.)
Life was refreshed.

Life is returning.
Life still to come
will motion me forward, and I will walk strong.
