I wrote this today, and I don't really feel like writing any kind of explanation...

"Black Lesson"
-Rick, "RiCterMan," Strayer, fecit.

I felt the pain, on an
innocent day, when I
Learned ribbons waved without my reach for them.
They went away, taken
by a violent wind rushing.
I felt no pain in my
innocent days-
breeding the pain of guilt and shame.

(Chorus 1):
And I nearly cried.
I nearly cried, on that day.
I nearly cried.
On that day, I-
Well, I nearly cried.
Betrayal of life
somehow was my crime-
a black lesson learned in light.

(Short Interlude, envisioned.)

Strange, to know this,
and it's strange, not to have noticed all along.
Strange..., almost like it's fiction.
Strange, to know this,
and strange, not to have noticed all along.
Strange... Strange to face what is and was.

The pain remains, on an
innocent day, as I
watch ribbons wave in a vision of the wind, that carried them.
They're far away, stolen
by that furious wind, foregone.
I feel the pain caused by my
innocent days,
in disruption.

(Chorus 2):
And I could nearly cry.
I could nearly cry, here today.
I could nearly cry, with my heart and my eyes.
Here today, I-
Oh, I- I could nearly cry.
The betrayal of my life
is my own commited crime;
my black lesson learned in light.

(Short Interlude, envisioned.)

(Chorus 2, repeats once more)

-Black lesson. (-repeats until end as music fades out very gradually.)
