hi and listening to your tracks now:
seems like rain today: nice guitars, vox get a little high at some points, i think a better bassline could be produced for this track, not a very serious problem though. and is there a 1 min silence at the end of the track or is it a problem about me?? if yes, track is too short.
overall nice production even though it is too far away from my personal taste.
face the world: well that effect like perc around 0:20 is not the best one i've ever heard, i think a better sound could be used. vox are leveled better at this track, whoa around 1:30 some beats at last lol. rest of the track is well done also.
overall this is a good and positive production again (argh positive stuff does not make me feel good lol!!!!). diggin this one better than the previous track.
one thing i would call this "acoustic" or something to that effect, why the "pop" genre there? just wondering ya know.
so finally keep up good work and cheers!!!!!!  |

Thank you for the review. These songs are from our second CD and though we're all chuffed with them, there's always something you think later on 'I wish I'd done this or that' I think every musician experiences this. But I will review the classification. Thanks again,

what I like about the songs:
Really good production value, well thought-out instrumentation, generally nice proportion of vox-to-everything-else, and to boot, it's got some beach boys/beatles/mellow clapton undertones to it.
what I'm not so fond of:
I guess I could be crazier about the lyrics, although the lack of pretention is refreshing. some of the imagery seems a little tired and played out. |
