So walk away and try to pretend
that you didn't know how it would end
the secret that cost us our friendship
its all just a worthless piece of sh*t

so just shut your mouth for a bit
So your lack of words is killing me

all those years of hurting and healing
have suddenly lost all their meaning

This is very touching for me. This voices the fear that I have if the relationship I am in were to end; lots of hard times that she and I have been through that we have healed together and if it were to end that would all be for nothing.
The first 2 stanzas emenate pain and hurt and betrayal and the last would end such a song perfectly with the inevitable bitterness that accompanies such a breakup.
