These are some lyrics I finished about ten minutes ago... I've had a shitty day today, but it wasn't much different than the days I've had that are good. See..., today was the same as most days, and that's why it sucked. Most days, I can go through the whole day without thinking much about how everything is staying the same, but today I did think about it. So I wrote about it, and this is what I wrote....

"Days of Consequence" (-tentatively titled.)
-Rick, "RiCterMan," Strayer, fecit.

I start my day with the hope for what's better.
It plays through just the same, and I'd rather
find myself at the end of another
day. -one that's better. Not much is better yet.

Day after day.
Day after ugly day.
Always the same, sad day.
Just let it change.

The end of the day shows all not together.
-the unorganized mess ablaze, wrapped together
with my disturbed mind tied to this bother
staying. -wanting better. Nothing is better yet.

Day after day.
Day after day, after day.
Sick of the same each day.
I wait for change.

(Chorus):
But the haze that hangs remains.
It shows me pictures
of past and futures.
My heart, enraged, is now estranged to yesterday.
Those tragic features
are all that torture me today.

(Short Interlude, envisioned.)

Days so deranged seem arranged to dissever
me. Each before leads to more of a clutter.
Here I sit, at the end of another
day, wanting better. When will this ever

change... (repeat three times after)

Day after day.
These awful days
replace
the lack of my old face.
-a disgrace.
-the only thing that's changed.

(Chorus)

and I need

change... (repeat three times after.)

EnD

Thanks to anyone who understands this. It's meant to show what's true... Later.
