i was so stoked when i found out through my job at umg that dimebag and pantera(minus phil) was working on this project with david allen coe right before his passing called Rebel meets Rebel. im a huge fan of pantera and especially dimebag and i was so exited to hear that he had more material out there. although this isnt your typical pantera... david allen coe is a country singer. the music is very interesting to say the least but dimebag definitely shreds on this project. check out their video heres a link- http://www.rebelmeetsrebel.com/photos/albums/userpics/10002/Nothin-To-Lose_video.wmv
im curious to see what other pantera fans think... |

Sounds interesting but too bad the project won't continue.
R.I.P. Dimebag
Speaking of country meets metal, does anyone like the band MX? They're pretty good and worth checking out.

for some reason I remember thinking I liked David Allen Coe, but the vocal didn't sound all that great. |
