Hello UBW'ers . . How about listing your all time favorite concert/show
that you ever saw . . it wil be interesting to see where our heads are at . . .
Mine was "YES" at Colt Park in Hartford Ct.
on July 6th 1976 . . I'll never forget it . .
There are many great ones though, but if I had to choose one
that would be it....
Peace........ |

The best show ive ever seen was phish 7-29-03. Unbelievable show, many break outs and the best version of crosseyed and painless ive ever heard. It was a whole hell of alot of intense jamming |

they are no more . . .me and Bssgrl are going to see Phil and Friends
with Trey and Mike on July 1st in N.J. . . can't wait

I dont think they will be playing anywhere else for a while considering trey and mikes tour and treys tour with tom petty, but at least they will play one show together for the first time since 2001. I just wish trey would stop trying to do his own thing and do the right thing, GET BACK TOGETHER WITH PHISH!!!!!!!! Its not if its when???? |

I would have to say that the best show I saw is a toss-up between 1979 Grateful Dead in Rochester NY with Phil playing the "let's take 3 steps back song" to avoid the human crushing that was occurring as well as doing a jam too commemorate the Earthquake in San Francisco, and the Phish show in Oswego. It's hard to pick out just one Dead show, there were soooooo many of them, but that is one I will always remember |

I can't give precise dates, but gotta say Bon Jovi in mid-90s at Starwood in Nashville was my favorite. It was an outdoor show, nice night cool temps. I think stuff sounds better outside anyway.
My memory is bad, but I do remember at one point giant inflatables popping up around the stage (maybe a giant chicken is one of them?) with ropes on them that the roadies pulled on making them look like they were boogying to the music. |
