If I was to expand from Music2000 on Playstation what would be best alternative or enhancement, bearing in mind I really get off making ambient / electro type music? Although I haven't fully explored all of Music2000, does anybody have any suggestions as to another tool? I've got a demo of FL 4, but find it awkward with no flow, thus all my ideas are dissolved through trying to make things happen.

Any inexpensive ideas would be most appreciated

I really don't have a clue of how music2000 works, so I can't give you a suggestion. Everbody seems to use FL and it seems pretty easy to use. I personally use Reason and Abletone Live 4, but I guess some of the stuff in those can be confusing to some people? You might want to check out Acid Pro. I know a buddy who uses it and he gets pretty good results out of it. I used to use Cubase and I enjoyed using it a lot. Same with Logic Audio. If you have any specific questions, just ask and I'm sure somebody will answer(including me).

Well ....dunno if it's the best solution but as I know them well I use them : so I would say reason and acid pro ( I do prefer acid pro 2 but use 2 & 4)
I admit I use fl sometimes for some sounds and still use t-racks

hope it helps

peace

Embarassed O M G I did it too!

Un4ea must be wondering what the hell is going on here. Rec_Acero was quick to pick that one up and Alekhat, maybe we already are someone else. Who would we like to be?
