If i could teach the world
If you down, then fight back, take my path and follow me
Got the wisdom of a prophet, doomed fate the prophecy
Quick sand got us sinking, drinking drunk and past it
Fears, make us blink, thinking bout layin in our casket
Need to replace the hate, try to change the way we live
Learn to cheat and show deceit, but we can’t learn to forgive
Trapped in retracting walls, ice cold frozen in time
Tryna survive, hate alive, steady world on decline
In shambles, we scramble trying to fit in with the crowd
Like a drop of water vapor goes unnoticed in a cloud
Wise enough to know, but still at times I’m askin why
If satisfaction is money, does satisfaction satisfy?
You must stand up, speak out, if you expect to be heard
Cuz if you always blend in, no one will know your life occurred
Makes me sick, so many dying in this war we don’t need
Crack fiends running the streets, we’re dominated by weed
Don’t sit back, but be aggressive, the success will unfold
Make excuses all you want, but you the one who has control
Try to smile for a while, get the anguished pain squashed
Idiotic society walks around like they’re brain washed
People today holding grudges, can’t forgive and forget
Not gonna stopped till I’m dropped, a fuckin rebel till death
Spread the word of God, heaven sent on a mission
If I could teach the world, would ya listen? |
