Ingflatable image technology has it's ups and downs in any community. Vast amounts of money has been poured into public debate and suitable colour-fast dyes.
The large ones are a statement. When we look up and see the giant tethered advertising balloons we are awestruck. Sure, the ropes often break so there's $10 000 flying away randomly.
The next step for these people I hear is crime driven. Letter boxes are a target for vandals in some parts of this town, so they intend to launch their inflatable letter-box by the end of winter. These can be fully inflated 10 mins before the postie arrives, then deflated before nightfall. |

OK...some quotes from last nite...spent some time with our former drummer Chris, and these are a few of the things that, well...made me laugh like hell...
"Technically, I've had quite a few beers.."
"I believe I am only 68% to blame for that.."
here are some from the archives..
"When I set up my bedroom, I faced the bed so I would be.... face to the front,
and ass to the back.."
"I'm trying to aquire the proper mouth to gain ratio.."
my number one favorite to date....
"You can't polish a turd...you can only Mic it, and make it thicker and louder.."
I had a great time!! LOL Ru |

I'd find a new job - a more self directed job. And I'd probably call a roofer. The house needs a new roof.
BTW, since we're looking for stuff to talk about - in a completely unrelated topic - the recent updated demographic growth projections seem out of whack to me - pushing projected growth too rapidly out to "collar" counties around major urban areas. There was a significant change when the 05 projections came out. |

Some funny things I heard or thought last nite...
When I asked mittens why he bought a specific piece of equipment ...
"It's got holes honey..." I still don't know what its for LOL
When describing how slow my computer is, I compared it to...
"two gerbils and a light bright.."
Mittens came up with a new C-bonics phrase..
"It's exactly the same, with slight variations.."
I don't belive I have ever done a vocal track that I have
been happy with from start to finish, I'm not crazy about
punch ins, so I usually want to do..just one more......afterall
"They're all scratch tracks till the last tracks..."
A few days ago, Mittens and I received a shoebox full of love and stickers from the UBW(one can never have too many UBW stickers) And mittens hath proclaimed....."all slow moving guitar cases,dogs,witcheru's,cars,computers,co-workers etc. will get stickered...." and he means it LOL...he's on a mission...

IML that's awesome. I don't do stunts or do things risky, as of the inflated mailboxes. It just sounds awesome just reading it.
Any other interesting and funny stories? |
