A college newspaper recently reviewed The Business of Flies new album "Kamikaze Dreamer." The reviewer said it was a cross between the Postal Service and Bright Eyes. Check it out and see if you agree. I don't know if it sounds like other bands, but I definately think it's worth giving a listen. I will review your band if you review this band.

I had to vote neither because I've never heard either of those bands! LOL...
The production quality on this song is great! Really mixed and performed very well. The overall melody is very enchanting and I really dig your singers voice, very smooth!!! I'll be coming back to this one in the future, really enjoyed it!! |

I don't know who the other bands are, but you have a good clean sound. good production and vibe on the tunes. |

I can see the reason for the comparasins for sure. With the slower songs I guess you guys fit in that slice of indie space occupied by , Bright Eyes, The Shins, Guided by Voices, The Oranges Band etc... Cool sound man.
I dig the rockin stuff / added instrumentation on Torch the Place, nice bit o' song writing there.
Production is killer and I dig the guitar parts...
Sweet.

Nice stuff.
I don't see the bright eyes connection at all though.
But not many people are gonna hit that sort of brilliance.
Keep 'em coming.
