Hey everyone,
I finished this earlier, and I wanna' know if it's any good. Usually, I like feedback, but I don't really ask for it. This time, I'd really appreciate any feedback I can get. It's called, "The Circling Self-Destruction", and it's about how a lot of people seem to bash themselves, when they've made a mistake. What people need to realize, is you take experiences where you've messed up on somethin', and you use them as a guide for if the situation occurs again. I'm not saying I do this perfectly. In fact, I still have to work on it a lot, but at the same time, I know that's what I must fully accomplish. Acceptance lets you breathe easier... So, yeah... Whatever you guys think of it, please tell me, and don't be afraid to be honest. Thanks!
"The Circling Self-Destruction"
As human beings,
we have faults, and we are erroneous.
True; there is cruelty, as imbociles scheme.
Still, many hands remain clean.
Many see mistake as something shameful,
and scorn themselves to tears.
They lose grip
as emotions distract them from
truth that they forget:
When we wander off-track,
we can learn from it(!)...
(Chorus):
It's like we hover around our minds,
as vultures over carcass.
The difference is, we lay...
waste in the process.
-hitting us just like cannon-balls.
We need to see
that it's only natural
to f**k up on occasion.
Observe your memories,
and land with a lesson.
(Learn to accept regret...)
(Short Interlude, envisioned.)
We are all imperfect.
-nothing bad about it.
We just need to calmly recollect,
find the gain, and relax.
You can't re-trace your steps,
and allow your feet to get stuck.
-feel it..., the onward motion.
(Moderately Long Interlude, envisioned.)
(Chorus)
Mistakes occur.
Don't be deterred.
Stay on the path and learn.
<2x> Learn to lose regret...
Learn, to accept.
<Fade to End>: (Learn to lose regret...)
EnD
Alright... I'll probably be back on this wonderful site tomorrow. I've got a lot of replying to do, and I wanna' see what you guys think of this one. -hope it's alright. Later! |
