Ooookie dokie. Hi. I'm MiracleBlue, or Nick is my real name. Call me by whichever. I have been composimg music for about 4 years now and have rarely had feedback from other people that actually appreciate the genre of music I compose. Please wipe the dust off my poor little mp3s, take them home with you, and give them a listen. They will love you for it ^_^

When you're done listening, please post your comments about it. Please don't say "getting there". If I'm getting somewhere, good, please tell me which bits of my music haven't quite got there yet. Be specific. Thanks.

Hi Miracle!!!

Welcome to the Unsigned Band Web!!!!

Listened to "gone too far" ! Electro is not my "typical genre" but I have been getting into it more lately after listening to many of the artists here! (alek acero, rec.hat, unproject, mistrust, u4ea, kdream ...etc...)

First of all the mix quality was FANTASTIC!!! Everything felt like it was in the right space, and nothing was overpowering or too low.

The rhythm is very driving, and there are plenty of changes to keep everything interesting. I like the changes around the beginning of the 2:00 minute. The "gunshot" sounding bass over the reverbed synth sounds VERY cool!!!

You got my head bobbin!!! If you want a review from a fellow ELECTRO, guy, you should check out U4eA's review thread in the electronica thread!!!!

GREAT to have you at the Unsigned Band Web!!!!

Ron

hi again. checkin your stuff now.

gone too far: this one has a good bassline, i think your first synth is a little dry. 2nd synth coming around 1:00 is quite nicely done. beats kick in good at 2:45. outro was kinda abrupt.
i think track has clips at several points and it needs heavy compression. it needs more work by structural means. it was also short so i expected another 4 mins building up the whole track with many effects, variations and a probably main lead.

proximity: starting synth is quite high. track has a house feeling for 30 secs but after that it has nothing to do with house in my idea. diggin the hats and snares in this track but as i said it does not feel like house to me. it gets a little repetitive after 1:30. and no outro again!!!
this one also needs compression and eq on the master channel. even though it does not feel like house it is a nice track but so short, sniff.

shotgun: argh please give me 4*4 kicks... nice bassline, synths a little repetitive and needs more variation. hats are too acoustic for electronic stuff. 1:20 lead gets in and out very very abruptly. this one is also did not sound to me like progressive trance, it does not build up enuff.

i hope ya don't think i am being picky or anything on your tracks Embarassed

overall i say tracks have some good potential but they need more work on mastering, structuring and eq'ing. yet they were fun to listen (especially you have a very good touch on basslines) and keep up good work Wink

peace Cool
(whoa this was long.. )
