Should there be a minimal quality for bands here?
Cover tunes and tiny tape recorders?

I think it would be very difficult to implement what you are describing. Unless we turned into an invitation only site, I think it would be tough.
The way it stands now, the quality of music here is fantastic!!! I really can't believe some of our artists are not signed yet, and many of them probably will be. As for the rookies, I hope we can help them cultivate their music and improve it by being a part of the site.
The only thing I might consider in the future is making the radio block stations inlusion by rating, so that the overall quality of music on the block stations would be moderated to some extent. We would still offer unmoderated stations as well.

I don't think that there should be any minimum quality for artists here. as long as there are no copyright infringment going on, I don't see any reason to restrict artists.. |

Minimum quality? Genre gestapo?, ethnic cleansing?, naaa don't think so. However if I do start to hear too many cover songs then I will threaten to unleash all my Britney Spears covers also. |
