I want to replace my stock squire mb5 pups with something better.(POTS too) Anybody got any suggestions? Confused

Pickups are totally dependent on personal taste. It depends on the music you are playing, and more importantly your own preferences in that genre.

Like just about everything else, pickups are different but not everyone is going to say that one pickup is better, necessarily.

For hard stuff, I like Seymour Duncan JBs a lot. I have Dimarios in my Custom Shop Ibanez and they sound amazing in their own way too. It just really depends what you are going for.

Personally, I like pickups that a 1Khz bump for the distorted stuff, but these can be a little harsh sounding on clean sources.
