Im new to this site and would love some honest unbiased feedback on my songs....
I dont have a band - just a song writer getting back into things after a five year break

Hi Matt & Welcome to the UBW!!!
Just listening to 'Better Way' as I type. I like the syle of your vocals (a little raspy with good emotion), and the lyrics are very good. Musically I like the melody and the recording is good. I think the vocals could benefit from a 'different' reverb. (One with less delay). Of course it's all a matter of taste.
Looking forward to hearing more!! |

Nicely recorded. not my cup of tea all a bit formulaic for my liking. bit done before for my liking but then i'm a fussy musician and I don't make up the majority I'm sure that this would appeal to alot of people sounds pro enough. |

Hey Matt,
Welcome to UBW
Listened to both tracks,,,,
Take 5 was more of my favorite than Better Way,
just my own opinion of course, although both songs are worthy of an honorable mention due to the recording quaility, which are very well done, and all the instruments, including your vocals are very well mixed, and the structure of the songs have very good foundations for building the overall inticement of wanting to listen to them more than once,
very good indeed!!
Will be watching for more

I will have to agree with minusme.
The reverb on the vocals would sound better with less delay.
