Thanks for bringing that up. Will see some punk in March picks.
As some songs don't fit neatly into a category, we try to place them into the nearest possible. Pop is a difficult one and the nearest will almost always be rock.

Fair enough, but i would have put pop and rock together, but maybe metal with alternative and progressive, and maybe even punk. metal and pop are almost polar opposites, as far as i'm concerned...
just my thought tho.
