Problem loading Pics on this Web site.

I don't know if it is a setting on my computer or what.
At work when I come to this site everything loads up great and its on DSL.
But on my Home computer a lot of the pics on this site does not load. Like the Featured atrtist pics and song pics. (some of the song pics will load but not all of them)
Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong. Is it a setting on my computer?

I haven't heard of anything like that before. Perhaps someone else here might mention if they've had any similar experiences? The images always load for me.

I use a computer at work and two different PC's at home. Are there any other sites that act that way?

No I have not noticed it on any other sites. I am just as confused.

Do the images in the forums (like all the icons?) and the icons on the home page load? Is it only 'band', 'song' images, etc...??

All Avatars are loading. But the pics for Featured Artist and the Threads of Artist above the Forums, and The small threads that load at the bottom of some of the New catagories do not load. Also the Song pics do not all load. Like under my web space with UBW my Artist Pic does not load on this computer, and some of my Song Pics do not load, but some of my Song Pics do load.

If you don't mind go to my Web Space on UBW and see if all the pics load for you.

Can you try and erase ALL of your system cache and cookies and then come back to the site and sign in again and test the images.

I'm thinking perhaps your cache got messed up somehow.

the only picture that loads on the Home page for me is my Avatar pic.

Thanks Sowers. I would like to figure this out!!! Please let me know if clearing the cache helps at all. If not, we will try some other things. I've gotta check out for awhile, so I'll check this post tomorrow and see your results.

All right I did what you said and it has made a difference. Now sometimes the home pics will load. I might have to hit refresh but it is working better. Thanks. I will keep messing around with it.

Well I thought it was getting better but it's not. I have to hit refresh about 5-6 times and it might load up everything.

My page says its Done but the pics just don't want to show up?
I have no more ideas, let me know if you find out anything.

minusme, I just wanted you to know that the pic problem I was having had to do with my computer. I did a system restore back to factory and it works great now.

The real reason for the pics not showing up on the site was my mcafee privacy setting.
It was set to not allow ads!

I would have never thought that would cause the pics on featured bands not to show, etc. But I reinstalled my privacy wall on mcafee and surely enough the pics on UBW site stopped showing up again. So I went into my privacy settings and turned off Ad Blocker, and the site loads up great!

Thought everyone should know this in case someone else ran into the same problem.

I hope this will help someone else in the future. Don't beat your self up over it. Just check you Ad Blocker!
