The Ailanthus Chamber Project
is an insane plan to launch a new Movie and Music Industry based in Chicago using
a sci-fi concert, an advertisement campaign, a little know legend and the production
of a sci-fi movie
The search for Ten Chicago Bands that are having trouble selling their Cd's and getting
good gigs to perform in Ten Chicago Nightclubs in one of the strangest sci-fi
concerts/movies to ever take place, The activation of a creepy legendary device
called The Ailanthus Chamber
The Ailanthus Chamber was a failsafe, a shortcut to enter into the next stage of human
evolution, designed to emit a resonant sound which could activate the regions of the
brain that contain total knowledge therefore granting ultimate power
According to the legend, where the winds that blew from the Mountains of Ailanthus
would intersect a chamber would form and resonant a unique sound and anyone that
entered the chamber at this point would become a God
these mountains eventually eroded but according to the "Book of Lore" from which
this legend was taken, a substitute could be used to create this resonant sound,
a substitute in the form of ten bands
Ten Chicago Bands performing in Ten Chicago Nightclubs exactly at the calibrated
distance where the Mountains of Ailanthus would have stood playing simultaneously
the unique resonant sound that should activate The Ailanthus Chamber
The Ailanthus Chamber will activate during this live concert/sci-fi movie, also appearing
will be a nasty little creature called The Antishun who's sole purpose according to this
legend is to hunt down, stalk, kill and eat those that try to activate or enter the
Chamber ..
The Ailanthus Chamber Project will be promoted with television commercials, cable
programs, radio ads linking all events to a central website, all part of an advertisement
campaign to ensure that it will become one of the more anticipated event in Chicago in
which millions of Chicagoans would have access to your Cd's, the publicity generated
from this project alone will turn your band members into rock stars
this project calls for ten bands that are ready to promote their bands like a business,
to attempt this project without the bands being in television commercials is not an
option, televisions commercials are capable of reaching millions of people and do cost
but with this cost split between 10 bands and others involved it becomes an affordable
way to enter into the celebrity spotlight
Thousands of bands exist in Chicago, most will fade away never to be heard from
again, some will be condemn to musician's hell to become tribute bands and the
rest will be doomed to an eternity of constantly playing underground in non
-existance because their band and music lack a good sales venue to the public
the ultimate goal of The Ailanthus Chamber Project is to create another movie and
music venue by creating ten Chicago live music nightclub hotspots, bring ten
Chicago bands to rock star status and to begin the production of sci-fi/horror/creature
movies in Chicago

Thanks for your interest in The Ailanthus Chamber Project, the process to secure the ten Chicago nightclubs for this project is in progress, this will also automatically form a live music circuit, it's now just the matter of finding the right ten places, the search for ten Chicago nightclubs type places that sell drinks, holds 500 persons or less, has a stage for a band and room enough by the stage to place television monitors
by placing 4 to 6 television monitors together and splicing/syncing the picture it would create a larger screen monitor or a giant television screen, the bands performances at each of the ten sites of the concert will be video and sent via the Internet to a master editing director and then sent back via the Internet to the monitors that will be located at each of the ten concert sites, the audience members in each of the ten sites will get to see and hear your band perform live at different intervals on these giant monitors
this also means that this event will have the capacity to be seen live over the Internet by anyone with a computer connection and could be shown live on a Chicago cable television channel, this will lead hundreds perhaps thousands of fans to a website where the band's music can be sold
one of the highlights of this event will be at some point in this sci-fi concert the bands are to simultaneously play in-sync the resonant sound to activate The Ailanthus Chamber
according to the legend it will take about ten seconds of the bands being in complete sync to activate the Chamber, so this will take ten bands that can play well and keep in time
bands with a drummer that can keep a steady beat and stay in sync with nine other drummers linked via the Internet and other members of the bands that can do the same at a given point in time to create the resonant sound, this is the only way the Chamber can be activated
of course the climax of this Live Concert/Live Theater/Live Sci-fi Movie/Live Internet/Live Television show event is for the activation of the Ailanthus Chamber in which as written in the "Book of Lore" the Antishun will show up at the exact location where the unique resonant sound generated by the ten bands would intersect resulting in one of the most anticipated fights ever
oddly most of the replies to this post were not from bands but from those that were interested in how the bands will be chose and why the bands was chose
looking for bands that are tire of being underground and ready to come into the spotlight and advertise their band like any other business
bands that during this concert are willing to perform only their original music and have Cd's for sale at this concert and over the Internet.... so please no tribute bands
bands that can afford their share of what this project would cost
bands that are at least willing to raise their share of cost for this project
bands that during this concert will only perform with band members that are all at least 21 years of age
because of the heavy advertisement that will be used to promote this project, all factions of Chicago's entertainment community will be focus on what takes place, this is more than just a concert, this one project can change the destiny of your Band or change how things are done within the entertainment community here in Chicago, in reality depending on the actions of your band in this project it could make the difference whether a new movie and music industry could be launch in Chicago, this will take bands that can handle this type of pressure
