Please let me know what you think of our music. It's not ordinary rock, but it's something fresh. We have 2 singers and a saxophone player. I have thick skin so if you think we blow, let me know.

I listened to your stuff a few days back. Liked "the perils..." tune alot. I'm relistening now. good sound in recording. nice groove. acoustic sound is very good.
Torch the place didn't work for me, but again good sound in recording and good production. The mix of musical influences might have been too much for my ears.<g>
Overcooked was my favorite of the bunch. Good listen. Very musical. interesting songwriting and construction. has a good rock thump underneath everything else that's going on, but reserved when it needs to be.
would be interested in comments on either "count the ways" or "orions's Garden" in link below. tia |

just listened to ya three tracks and thought they were pretty good, nice arrangements and structure for the best part, good vocals, good general musoship. thought that the vocals were slightly lost at times in the mix, maybe occasionally lost under guitar and other times slightly to much delay / reverb??? I don't know. But still its only occasionally and a very minor point :-).
Added all three tracks to RADIO ENGLAND, hope you don't mind! |

you guys have some really cool sounds happening here, the recordings are all very well done, the vocals at some points remind me of almost 60's recordings with the way you using the reverb, it's coming accross very full sounding . . . I agree with smili on the "Torch the place" as far as being too many different genres pack into one, but it sure was intesting the way you put it together . . . I really liked "overcooked" until the last 30 sec when you changed it to a hip hop flavor . .
overall you guys sound very good and unique, a nice energy flow happening . . .thanks, I really enjoyed the listen! check out the songs below if you have a few minutes. . . .
Peace,

I agree with the comments so far, very well recorded and mixed. I really like the tempo and music changes in "the perils of being young and idealistic". The guitarwork is very dynamic. The vocals are VERY strong and I agree with the Alice in Chains reference. Vocally I can hear that similarity. I can definately see myself listening to this again!!! |
