The news over here is pretty much all grim and interviews with leading scientists aren't exactly helping calm the masses... one scientist tonight suggested the bird virus can get it on with a human virus and produce up to 250 mutations. I say that's one serious sperm count or is it just another 'Y2K' hype ?
What's the guts in other counties ? |

they've been playing it up here as well, depending on who they talk to but one thing for sure is they couldn't produce enough vacine for the whole U.S. population for 5 years. They have a list as to who gets it first.
1. health care workers
2. political leaders
3. essential work force
4. elderly
5. children (yeah that's what they said, children are at the bottom of the list! )
they're also saying it's not here yet, they don't even know what vacine will work? the same ole let's scare the crap outta everyone.
anyway . . my 2 cents
hey IML, how the in the world did you ever score 155 in golf? that freakin clown hole gets me all the time . .  |

Two things.... First, what about people with weaker immune systems? I was just wondering, 'cause if it did happen, I'd pretty much be gone without a vaccine. I'm diabetic. However, I'm not too worried yet. I'm just curious if those people are anywhere on that list...
The other thing I wanted to share with everyone is that there's some kind of medicine out there (-not sure if it's the vaccine), and it's called Tami-Flu. Apparently, the U.S. government hadn't gotten on the waiting list, to recieve shipments of the drug to sell to the American public. That was what I saw on TV about a month ago, so it may have changed. I just thought I'd let that information out in this thread.
I know one thing... If that flu spreads as much as they say it will, many people, if not everyone around the world will know someone who got the illness, and didn't survive. That would suck. Still, I just try to stay hopeful and positive until something suddenly changes (If anything does.) Later, everyone! |

the only reason the chaos is cos its a virus that can effect the west,maleria kills miliions in africa but because it dosent effect us the media wont put us in fear about it
thats my views,yes it can be deadly but i think hiv is a bigger threat to humanity

I was in the zone dunno, just kept getting holes in 1 thru lots of luck
At the clown stage, line up and hit the ball about half a second after the teeth go down. That's a sure a hole in 1 at about 1/3 speed. |

thanx for the tip IML, I'll give it a try. . .  in the zone eh? I have a song called "The Zone" it's not about golf, but it's about being in the zone . . .
RiCterMan, that list I wrote was off the top of my head, people that are more susceptible are definitely on it, not sure where though. . . I have heard of tamiflu, but they don't even know if it works... |
