HiYa Tammy!!!!
I'm listening to Silence as I type. FIrst of all the guitar riff at the beginning is really cool, then when the solo starts it's a great ambience. The harmonies are really nice, and the song has kind of an edge due to the emotional lyrics.
Really enjoyed it!!! |

Thanx Ron and Mantisman2005, I appreciate the feedback. Silence was really easy to write due to the emotions that were running rampid during that time of my life. Erick does some really nice work on it as well.
Mantisman....I tried to find your site to check out your songs but was unsucessful, can you post a link?

I've got to say this is a solid rocker. I also have to say the message gets lost right away with a male vocalist. I read the song info and see the notes about an abusive relationship and this song does not bring that forward musically to me. I't sounds and feels much more like a guy who is pissed off at his woman. It is a pretty solid song, I just don't get the connection to the story. Sorry for your tribulations. Best. Michael |

Thanx for the feedback. I agree with you about the male vocals on Silence, unfortunately the band I recorded this song with, Mark was the lead vocalist and insisted on singing it, one day I will re-record it with me singing it and hopefully that will change the feel of the song to the way it was intended. Please be sure to check out some of my other songs like (click here)  Relections (to name one) which features me on lead vocals. I find your comments and observations very honest and insightful. 
BTW, I really like your songs, Erick (guitarman152) turned me onto you.

I've enjoyed all the songs I've heard of yours. Don't post on here too often but from what I can hear you definately have some talent. Keep it up and post some more if you have them. |

I really like it the blend of your backup reminded me of Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane at first...definitely a keeper thanks for the download..did you take a listen to my song "you can hear my voice" you might hear an influence of Jerry Garcia on the repeating background guitar riff...lol
Erick sounds great too on the guitar really dig it
