Stealth Engine Apex sets itself a challenge.

Apparently all good things go to those who wait. Well, I waited for two months for my new gear and indeed it is INSANELY good! Im pleased with all of it, so expect the new stuff to be more innovative, experimental and with buckets of better production quality.

New stuff!

I`ll be spending the next couple of months getting used too all the new gear, testing out new sounds and really just getting myself clued into what all my new equipment can do. I want to make sure that I use it all at its fullest potential and wont be rushing. There will however be a few demo/experiment tracks uploaded onto UBW when I get back from snowboarding in Canada on the 19th of March.

Stealth Engine Apex has also attained a brand new live drummer! Divided By One former skin beater Pete Botterill has offered his services and sample expertise. Im looking forward too playing alongside him again!

So, the big upload. This is it! Can S.E.A truly justify paying out so much for the new gear? Who knows, I know people have been excited about hearing me use the 7-string and the Vetta. Well, here it is!

The song is at the very top, its called "Erupture" and it is the first experiment with both the 7-string, Vetta II and new alesis USB direct recording.

Yeah - this packs a mighty punch. I think the guitars coulda been a touch higher in the mix - but maybe thats because I'm a guitarist and i think the guitar sound you get is awesome. I kinda like the change in the drumming in the second half - sound a little 'prodigy' even...

Not always present but always busy with something or other. Got a new track online for the 2006 EP release. Its called "Hunter" Feel free to check it out. Also, big update in the UBW S.E.A blog is coming over the weekend at some point. Just news on how things are going, direction and the usual ramblings.

Im going to overhaul the images, graphics and promo photo's before the end of the month. Im not bald anymore, so its not up too date! My hair is back and I am ready and rearing to go!

Oh yeah, Stealth Engine Apex is BACK!!!!!!

I (AK) have been most busy as of late. Moving house and all the crap that goes with it. However, after a great summer break after the spring FIREFROST release, I have begun writing new music again for an autumn E.P. It -might- be the last one for a while, as certain Military (Specifically Army) obligations have me going away for a little while.

Regardless, new music -is- on its way and this path of rage is far from over. A bigger and more detailed update is coming soon. Keep an eye out!

Well, the original thread for Stealth Engine Apex hasnt been posted on for MONTHS, so I thought I would start right from the beginning. A couple of the old schoolers here on UBW might remember me, but I see loads of new faces and new great artists. Its so good to be back and giving music out again!

Got 8 new tracks up! A re-graphic of the UBW page and updates all round. Best be making my way over to the blog and updating that too.

So, newer sound. 7-string guitars and a huge concept album. Feel free to leave any comments in the review section on the associated thread. All feedback appreciated.
