Hey everyone. I'm not sure how many Incubus fans are on the board, but here's an update on them, because they are my all-time, favorite band:
Incubus is in the studio working on their fifth full length album, which is the follow-up to "A Crow Left of the Murder". No titles spoken of yet, because the process is in the very early stages. However, they did give an idea of what direction they are heading in with this effort... They said in an interview about the Stealth Soundtrack songs, that those songs are where they are going to head with the next album. Lastly, they said it could take up to a year or more to complete the album, because they want to take more time this go-around.
I am a huge fan, so I can't wait until it's all said and done. -Anyone else who shares an interest in Incubus, who haven't already heard the new songs, should check out the Stealth Soundtrack. Titles are, "Make a Move", "Admiration" (-My favorite), and "Neither of Us Can See", feat. Chrissie Hynde. If you didn't like "Crow", give this a chance. You may enjoy it.
Incubus Rocks!!! Later! |

Are they going in a different direction with this record? I know a lot of fans were unhappy with the last record.

It seems like it could be similar, if you listened to "Make a Move", but the other two songs on Stealth are pretty different than "crow."
I was one of those unhappy fans, but only at first. Now, I do enjoy that album. However, I think they're about to get back to being the band that used to amaze their fans. Listen to the Stealth songs I listed. They said that's the direction for the new LP. Take it easy, Brandon. Later! |

They was the most dissappointing band at Leeds this year!
Was really looking forward to seeing them as well! |

...Seriously? I wonder what happened. I've seen them twice, and they were amazing both times (Morning View Fall tour, 02', and Lollapalooza, 03'.) Maybe it was just a bad day for 'em. I dunno'.... Later! |

I like them as a band - they try new stuff out - sometimes it works - sometimes it don't - but at least they're willing to try! |
