Here's a poem. I wrote it about the way that I'd prefer to be percieved, if I ever get to share my lyrics (put to actual music) with an audience. I have no idea about whether or not it'll happen, but if it does, I want to portray myself in the way that this poem describes me. I already do, but I'd want to further it, if I were trying to entertain others.  Read and enjoy...
"Odd Little Man"
Strange and odd,
but uniquely so.
-Striving for "seperate"-
this intricate soul.
-Hoping for "mystery;"
confuse and intrigue.
-Portraying eccentric,
but ever so gently.
-Lead minds to questions.
-Let impact give answers.
-Surpass being usual.
-Earn a name they'll remember.
-Stand on a canvas.
-Melt into a plan.
My pen and emotions
inscribe who I am...

If any of you knew me in person, you'd understand exactly what I meant by writing this. See, I do act pretty strange, and it's never accidental. The reason is, I don't feel like being the same as most other people. It just doesn't seem as interesting, to me. -And no, I'm not so strange that I scare people away.  It usually shows the most, when I'm comfortable around someone. So, that's that. -Hope you enjoyed the poem. Later! |
