I recently started up a new band called The Flying Tamarins and we're ready to begin recording our first single, "Gibbous" (which, hopefully, will be available on my page once it's done).

The problem is that The Flying Tamarins don't actually have a drummer yet, and, while I'm decent at playing the drums myself and own a kit, I don't think I'm good enough to actually back a band. So what I need is a good program that I can use to conjure up some good drum beats to back our songs (just for now). Does anyone have any suggestions on programs I could use? Preferably free or cheap, as I'm not exactly the most financially stable person in the world.

Specifically, I need something where I can make a good beat and then transfer it to Adobe Audition. Of course, if there's a way to make beats with Audition, I'm all ears. I'm not new to the program, but I've never had to use it for anything like this before.

I appreciate all help!
Thanks,
Jack
