Any UK based band/soloist that would like to have their demo CD mastered for a record company please email me on pod.father@zen.co.uk This is a completely free service open to UK bands only and could make the difference between being signed/ignored.
If you're not sure what mastering of a CD actually means please read below.
When you mix the demo at your studio it is often given to you in a straight forward mixed format that will sound okay on your stereo. It will not sound the same as the tracks you hear on retail CD's and the radio. The reason for this is mastering of the final mix is usually undertaken separately and then sent off for pressing. Mastering usually involves compression, EQ for track, limiting and other more obscure effects.
There are 3 conditions for this offer.
1. You must be based in the UK
2. The Demo must be of a least passable quality. If you have recorded your band at home with a mic in the living room this is not worth mastering.
3. No Jazz
