I fell behined the gate that left,
The world wide open to me,
I made a mess of my whole life,
And lost my dignity.

I got shut in a hell hole cell,
Without a will to live,
If only i had a witty mouth,
I'd charm my way out of it.
Is anybody listening?
Has anyone noticed me closed in?
I'm just wasting,
I'm just waiting - for the moment to break free.
I got locked out the door that left,
The life i'd like to lead,
I'd break it down if only i could,
Instead i learned to read.

With nothing there but me,
All those years just staring at,
The walls that protect me.
