Dicelines Present:
Relapse @ The Arches
Featuring The Front, Amber Souls, Engine, The Hype, Gondwana
The Arches, Midland Street, Glasgow
Doors 8pm / Over 18s Only / £6 on door

THE FRONT – www.thefrontonline.co.uk
Glasgow 5 piece The Front have been steadily progressing through the Glasgow scene for over a year now, and bring their Libertines and Strokes influenced “toe tapping bundles of joy” to this month’s Relapse at The Arches.

AMBER SOULS – www.thebreakfast.co.uk
We are delighted that Amber Souls are travelling up from Newcastle for Relapse. The 5 piece have played many gigs in Glasgow before under the guise of The Psychedelic Breakfast, yet this is their first appearance north of the border this year. They have previously won the demo vote on BBC Radio Scotland’s Air, hosted by Vic Galloway. Described as hedonistic indie madness from Newcastle’s masters of guitar based dance, you can expect just that – madness!

ENGINE – www.engine-music.co.uk
Engine formed as a result of a chance meeting between Ouch promoter Martin Manley and singer Kath Knox – whom Martin stumbled across in a Belfast watering hole singing Bessie Smith covers over live drum & bass.

Described as “Genre re-defining” by The List magazine, Engine’s live set has been well received all over the UK, and has won acclaim from many sources:

"Probably Glasgow's most entertaining live band" - No.1 Pick of the Week - The Guardian

"It's a pleasure playing after engine, the crowd are already on the dancefloor" - Tom Findlay, Groove Armada.

Completing the eclectic Relapse line up are Stirling’s indie-rockers The Hype and Paisley’s Gondwana.
