hey seneki, I'm guity of the flatulent thread and I was just trying to induce some humor here . . if you read it maybe you too would have some laughs . . .it's just innocent fun man.
If anyone is truely offended I will gladly remove it, BUT I haven't laughed so hard in years. . . . . as a matter of fact, it was after seeing the "what time is it" thread that gave me the idea out of simply being bored. I thought most people would find humor in it and I was trying to see if it could draw as many posts as "what time is it" . . . that's all

I apologize if I have offended anyone, I'm am just looking to see what's considered normal or ok, I just figured people would be more interested in seeing how their songs were doing out there in the public viewing, but I wasn't trying to start any issues |

those 2 threads you mentioned are posted in off-topic, and there not meant to be serious or smart
besides, lazlow, i've noticed the last played tunes thing in the profile earlier than you did. and just like you i came to this topic to check who was being honest and who wasnt, not that i care, i just felt the curiosity. i gotta say that your profile showed you were playin your own tunes too. i havent posted anything about anyone, since i thought this thread was meaningless from the very beginning. and now you notice it, you go click some random tunes to fix your profile, and then come back bitching at people about being dishonest. thats not a good thing to do man, i dont care if you play your own tunes or whatever, but i think it is you who's in the "holier than you" attitude. everyone can play whatever they want, cant they, so why not just drop it |

This is untrue. I can't remember the last time I played any of my tunes. But I can tell you this: it was long before this thread even started. Months, maybe a year before.
Perhaps you have mistaken me for someone else. Pray tell, which of my songs did I allegededly play?

This is also untrue. I have not been playing "random tunes." In fact, I haven't had chance to play a single song since I discovered the profile feature. And when did I b**ch? I merely pointed out the discrephency between what people were saying and what they were doing.

If I act holier-than-thou, then perhaps it's because I have been completely honest and candid in this thread. And I haven't had to stoop to making false allegations ("you were playin your own tunes too" and "you go click some random tunes to fix your profile'), as you have done. Those are statements that you can never back up because they are completely false.
If I were capable of dishonesty, why on earth would I come to this thread in the first place and admit that I hit my songs a lot when I first arrived? A dishonest person would either A) avoid this thread in the first place; or B) wouldn't admit to anything.
I will defend my integrity. Here's why: I used to be on a lot of stations. I don't know who was selecting me for their stations, but I appreciated it. One day a a glitch in this site's server caused my play count to double in a week. We're talking about 600+ plays. I immediately reported it. And it was fixed with an explanation that the server counter failed to rest (or something).
But that wasn't the end of it. Later I was directed to a thread where people were wondering how a guy with 600 hits in a year, could suddenly double that number in a week. They were unaware of the thread I had already started.
Next thing I know, all the stations dropped me. |
