i was dicking around on the guitar and came up with some shit then i wrote this to go with it. the title is just temporary.

"the front lines"

i place these pennies on your eyes
sleep deep the moon is full tonight
Your last tear shimmers over the ripples
in the river where i bathe in my sins

i put my heart on the front lines
and now i can hear the faint cries
of the bell that tolls in the distance
as i wave the white flag

the bats in my tomb keep me awake
ill carve out my eyes
so I don’t have to see you go
and I'll hold on to every breathe
afraid each ones my last

tongiht ill sleep in your chalk outlines
on this ashfault paved with lies
and I can still feel your tears
as I try to taste your name on my lips
but the words wont come

I listen to the angels sing our song
out of tune they scream from the tallest tree
under which we use to lay
and carved in our names
with pennies we found
they must have been good luck

It sounds cool. I like how the lyrics arnt strait on how they kinda use different words or whatever it is

I like it- god knows I couldn't sing it. That could be the only problem with Return- I have a nice Britney Spears "pop-ish" voice and unless I teach my self to be a bit harder and not so "pretty", we may have some problems...

I dont actually no what the hell this even means, i just started writing down some words i thought sounded cool and this came out.
