This song starts off pretty fast. I was almost thinking it was gonna be a hardcore track, but its a breakbeat. Not quite fast enough for me to consider it drum and bass but certainly close. The song has an overall industrial vibe that is fueled by minor scales and dirty distored bass kicks. At 9:13 its quite a long track one, but well worth every second.

The intro is solid. The intial melody is very simple, yet quite hypnotic. Complimented by some nice drums and sound effects that sound reminicant of a record scratch.

The first breakdown is well placed...the strings are a nice contrast to the rest of the tune. I would almost like to hear that string part continued once the beat comes back in. The melody that drops at 1:30 is nice. We also get a taste of some nice synthetic bass hear. The little vox sample is a nice touch...deffinatly fits the middle eastern vibe of the song.

The next break around 2:20 is also well timed. I receieved the continued string part i spoke of in the above paragraph. Im liking all the cutoff on the drums...but the effect seemed to go away quickly. The added percussion at 3:08 is great...this is the first part of the tune that got me moving around a bit. I would recommend using that sample again in the later part of the tune (maybe a 32 count after you added the panning snare drums?) The melodies contrast nicely with each other, gets a touch repetative through the 3:40-4:30 mark.

The melody at 4:30 is cool, reminds me of the knight rider. Oh, the part at 5:20+/- where its just the bass drum and one noise the great. Great way to build up a track Idea

I like the variations added to the snare drum around 6:00, adds quite a bit to the groove by doing something so simple as this. Love the build up to 6:50 as well...same little bass drum part I spoke of earlier, however without the silence.

Im noticing a trend here, this song has breaksdown and adds/varies the melodies every min or so...which is great. Really keeps things fresh. No parts really seems to drag, which i was skeptical about, given the songs length. I must say you pulled it off nicely. I was never bored. It didnt really do anything to surprise me, so i will take of a couple poinst for that...but hey, techno is supposed to be reptative right?I give this dark industrial break beat my stamp of approval and highly recommend it for anyone with a touch of darkness in there soul (which should be everyone Wink )

Great track
8/10
