Well, when it rains, sometimes it sucks  .....a few weeks ago we were told by our drummer Chris, that he no longer wants to drum for us, the reason  ...he has no desire to play out in front of people.     I guess he's just content in the shallow palace playing in the shadows....we are famous in our basement. He did still want to be involved though, as far as writing arranging and such, but we haven't heard from him since..  .that was 6 wks ago. As if that wasn't bad enough, we were told 2 wks ago that our guitar player, Paul, is re-locating to North Carolina with his girlfriend Katie. And although we are so very happy for him,(we're hoping they'll get married and have babies someday!!) I myself feel like someone dropped a bag of rocks on my head  !!! We are going to miss Paul so much, he has no idea...     
But on the bright side, Steve and I will keep going as long as we can  . We have a couple drummers tht might be interested  , and another guitar player that may also step in. right now this is all tentative. So for now, we'll keep our fingers crossed, take some advil and wait to see what happens!! C-yaaaa!!

Sorry to hear your going through a rough spell!!!! I'm sure things will work themselves out, they always do! WitcherCreek must live on, in some form or other!!!!

Dude - the toughest steel is forged in fire - and most bands I'm into have had more than one line up change over the years - think of it as an opportunity to get someone elses creative juices in the mix - yeah - it will never be the same - but so long as you don't try and make it the same - what you get may well suprise and fulfill you in unexpected and new ways.....or it could all just turn to crap...up to you really aint it!

Forged in fire...  I like that!!!! And we are definately looking forward....but it does get discouraging sometimes ...but, as we have done before, here in the shallow palace, we shall keep the fires burning  !! Thanks !!!

2 band members is a kick in the guts for sure  Soulfish's post is a goody tho. You seem to be looking forward anyway and I hope the drummer you have lined up works out.
