that's right, I'm the newbie!
alek, you mean there are still people who use dial-up? OMG, I can't believe that! I have cable myself, I would never go on the internet again if I didn't have a broadband connection. You know once you have a Porche it's hard to get back into a Honda Civic...
and thanks, I'm glad you like the new track. I just wish I could upload a higher bitrate version, the 128k makes it lose some of the atmosphere but you know how picky I can be... |

I think I saw somewhere that 40% of Americans use dial-up... I don't think I'll ever be able to use it again.. |

I think it's 384k, but the encoder in Sonar only goes up to 320k I think. I'll have to look at that next time I'm mixing down to MP3.... |

I couldn't imagine going back to it. We can't get broadband at work so we installed a dish. It's better than dial-up sometimes, except when it rains, or it's cloudy, or.... |

I would've guessed the % dialup is higher than 40% still. I also recently moved to broadband and will not go back as long as the price is reasonable. I'm cheap - but broadband is worth it.
