In Mid-October a major charity event to celebrate
the life of Tom Jones aged 17 a popular local musician
in the Band Inkus who died as a result of a hit and run
Accident as he waked home with friends.

of this Charity Memorial-
to celebrate the best of Cambridge -

Priority will be given to bands from Cambridge area
A Live CD and possibly DVD of the night
will be produced and releasesd later this year.
The Event is currently being planned and
dates at the prestigious "Corn Exchange"
Venue in Cambridge are being held open.
Depending on the Bands selected,
Aternative 400+ Venue with full sound, lights
and crew support are secured.
The event will recive full promotion
and will be covered by local
and regional TV and Radio.
The event will be professionally organised
and the Corn exchange has agreed to
provide all necessary, sound lighting,
security stewards, etc for the event
as required.
"The Event is being organised under
the working title "Teenage Kicks"
- 4 or 5 indie/pop bands.punk will get the
chance to play.
The event will be run on a non commercial
basis and all proceeds from the event
(after expenses will be donated to the
Multiple Sclerosis Charity MS-Therapy/
This event is a gathering of young people
from across the region to celebrate
the life of a talented young rock star
who was on the edge of success.
The Final date is to be formalised and
will be made to accommodate the bands who apply
- the event will also be promoted by web site
and NME/music press advertising, plus national campaign.

Checking out the tunes - current possible dates are as follows
Oct 7th, 10th or 11th 14th or 15th or 21st
Depending on the headline act (To be confirmed) and best dates for Bands who sign up. date to be confirmed by end of next week.

A concert raising money for the Huntingdon MS Therapy Centre featuring the best of Cambridge Unsigned Bands organised in memory of a young musician who died tragically on the roads. Tom Jones (17) of Award Winning Band Inkus died earlier this year after being hit by a car while walking home from a party with a group of friends.
This event is a gathering of young people and music fans o fall ages from across the UK to celebrate the life of a talented youngster who was on the edge of success.
