The moonlight
it came up to me tonight
and told me all its tales
I heard stories from
days so long ago
But there's nothing
I can tell you from them
sun swore me to secrecy
told me that the others
mustn't know
So I'll write these words
to fill my sails
and ship off somewhere new
where the hearts
are not so pale
and the sky's a deeper blue

happy on the other side
and I'm so
fuckin' tired
of looking for somewhere to hide
but it's not you
that's just not true
