f**k thats a sweet piece erick! i love the sound and tone on the lead guitar! its awesome!
I don't i want to touch it - as its sounding pretty damn good already and anything i add would probably f**k it up.
i find it hard to jam along too as well...
it needs lyrics and bass though - neither of which i can really do.
I don't think i'm gonna be able to give much to it though. i'd ruin it.
but i'll keep trying and see if i can get anything good down.

hey seneki, . . what are you talking about man? I've heard your music and you are totally capable of contributing . . I think I may have uploaded it with the pitch a tad off . . sorry . . try and come up with some vocals or even some lead type feedback in there somewhere, there's plenty of room for more guitar . . remember that this is an exercise, so hop on board . . tune up to standard tuning and play on the 7th positions in B, I'm using a lot of 5th's . . if it's off and you don't have pitch controll, I'll have to fix it and redo it . . . let me know and thank you.
Peace,
Erick |

cool, i may be involved at some stage too, maybe final mix/mastering or arrangement. you may want to upload the guitar track (and any others) dry and solo though, its pretty hard to work on something already processed with the beat playing in the background. my 2 cents |

i will try and do something this week, but im currently wallpapering and its beginning to do my head in. been at it for a week and a half now. All i have done is go to work, come home and decorate then go to bed. And the last 2 weekends have just been totally taken over by it. Nearing the end though, once everything is back in place, i will be able to get my axe out!.

you know what really helps with online collaboration? knowing the tempo, keys, progression (if you have a set one), lyrics, etc... so if you start this off the best bet is to provide as much info as possible so people don't have to do too much guessing... :-) (even if the idea is to, er, come up with ideas...)
the www.reportdingproject.com forum has a pretty good set of guidelines for collaborating so people can be really productive... they definitely have some good things going on and i think their ideas would serve well here...
my 2¢.... |
