Hey All,
I'm just wondering what rock bands/artists everyone is listening to presently? Just list your favorite, and say whatever you want about why you like them.
In my last post, a minute or so ago, I stated who my favorite band is. It is Incubus, and that's how it's been since early 2000. I love just about all of their songs, they put on an amazing live show, and they try to help others through their musical success. My favorite song by them is "Nowhere Fast", because in my opinion, when I listen to it, the complexity of the instrumentation always sounds beautiful, yet still intense.
Give me some input, everyone! I find great interest in music, and I'd like to know what you all consider to be good.

I can never remember my favourite bands when anyone asks, I like so many different ones.
Anything with loud guitars will do, old or new.
SABBATH, TOOL, ALEC EMPIRE, PRIEST, RUSH, FLOYD, NIN, ALTER BRIDGE (Better than Creed), JANES ADDICTION, MARILLION, MAYHEM, RADIOHEAD, VAN HALEN (with Hagar), G,n,F,n,R, SPRINGSTEEN, SATCH, MEGADETH, T. PETTY, UFO, VAI, JOY DIVISION, SLAYER, WHITE STRIPES, YES, NEIL YOUNG, DYLAN, FLEETWOOD MAC, ABBA, METALICA, ACDC, ATARI TEENAGE RIOT, JOE WALSH (before the eagles raped him), SMITHS, and, er....... and thats all that spring to mind out of hundreds that I like.
I like em because I like em.
I mainly like stuff for atmosphere. Good music, good evocative lyrics, a bit of emotional depth. Thats all I look for, it also depends on the mood I am in at any given time.

-Doin' fine tonight, Dagon.
I saw you listed a certain band, so I just wanted to say that I love the song "Blue Orchid", by The White Stripes. That's the only new song (-think that's new...) that I've heard by them, but it's quite dandy, I must say.  Anyway, Cheers, man!
