Hello all!
Well as you can probably see by now, we have a brand new theme and some new organization! I hope you like the new theme as much as I do. Take some time and look around and let me know if you see any bugs. I think this new theme will appeal to a wider audience, and hopefully bring in more artists & LISTENERS!!!!
If you prefer to go back to the old theme, it is available when you first login under the "themes" button.
Next on the agenda is some back-end work on our artist database system to make way for more exciting changes!!!! Stay tuned.....
Finally I would like to welcome Rec.Hat and Alek Acero as the newest moderators at the bulletin board. Both have been with the UBW since nearly the beginning, and their professional quality of music, and positive attitudes make them perfect moderators!

omg this is awesome ron. you are the man again and again. i did take a look at it and seems to work fine for me so far now. now this big surprise rocks  and it does not take the look of a bar code like the black theme, when i scroll up or down as it's loading.... and also you can sleep with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay fine, forget about the last one i mentioned.
i think "popular genre's" part also should include the general chart (no more trance charts?  ), and radio block should keep it's position on the upper left corner and you should somehow make sure that all members (esp. new ones) are aware of the 2 themes. and finally i also think switching between the themes are still a little hard 
and i welcome our new moderators alek and rechat and give 'em a huge hug... i hope you guys keep moderating our asses forever lol

Great comments all the way around. I will probably move the radio back up top soon. I just wanted to make sure everyone got familiar with the new popular genre's section. This contains all genre's with more than 10 songs uploaded. As soon as other genre's (like trance) have over 10, they will get their own page as well.
I agree about the switching between the two themes. For the time being I really want "THIS" to be the default theme to work out any remaining bugs. After all is well, I will set a "theme switcher" on the front page that will make it super easy to switch.

I second that emotion! This theme is alot easier on the eyes. Slicker, more polished look too. Maybe I won't have to spring for that 21" monitor after all  Also very pleased with the new navigation in the charts area. I like the fact that you can expand each list to see my music way down there. Ron I think this site's gonna take off like a rocket man. |
