What a cool thing to do.
I would suggest, however, that the quality of the ingredients really does affect the outcome of the pie. MMMMMM, REMIX pie!
If you are going to spend your precious time doing remixes- which I find fun, myself, you should only use downloadable, mp3 format files as a starting point. You will definately get something deeper- and cleaner- if you can get your hands on the original audio (since we're talking about vocal tracks). I have had good results with rendered WAV files. Anyone serious enough to take you up on this offer should be serious enough to send you the components you need to do a decent remix on a c/d in the mail.
I'm interested in hearing what happens.
