This song is about the paradoxical entity that is temptation. All our lives we are lured into sin and transgression by whatever demon may be possessing us at that moment in time. Be it alcohol, drugs, women, men, etc. But when one stops to actually mull over who is to blame for temptation, there is only one answer - yourself. You are responsible for giving into temptation, for falling into a web you've been spinning since you came out of the womb. You are your own deceiver. You are your own demon.
