Light Bulb...! (just a suggestion)

Ok, I'd like to tell you this site is incredible, and I'm surprised I just now found it. Music is my life, and I've been waiting for a site like this, and suddenly here it is.

Anyway, I did have a suggestion that seems cool to me (idea...?). I figured I'd post it, because you know as well as I, that it's not about me as much as what everyone else thinks is cool for the site.

Now, to the point... Has there ever been a thought of a forum being added where meanings can be posted? -Maybe it could be based on members of this board requesting the meaning of a song/poem? I thought about this, because I love to post my lyrics, but I saw a problem. My song lyrics can be pretty long a lot of the time, and even a brief story of the meaning, or title breakdown can make the post too long to hold some readers' interest. So, maybe if they really liked someone's lyrics/poetry they could post requests in that forum. I dunno'... It seems cool, but I don't know any limits you may have on adding forums. I'm also not sure if posting meanings would be a truly great idea, because it's basically a brand new thought, so I haven't thought about any drawbacks. Let me know what you think about it.

Thanks for your suggestion RiCterMan, and welcome to the Unsigned Band Web!!! I really appreciate ideas for new features!!!! This would be easy to add, but I wonder how many people would use it? Like you, I have a passion for lyrics too, and I love reading everyone's words, and sometimes wonder about the meanings and symbolism. Let me think about this a few days.

That's basically what I shall say to your reply. Also, about my feedback, thanks for the chance to be able to leave it. They really should have more boards like this one on the net.

About the idea I had. I thought that maybe I, or you, could post a poll to get people's response to the idea, and it could be based on asking if they thought that it would be something many of them would use. You could leave the poll up for however long you choose, before deciding. If you'd like me to post that type of poll, I can do so. Just let me know. I think, if it were created, maybe it could be called, 'The Story-line Lounge', or something along those lines? Whatever you choose would be cool with me. If you'd like me to post that type of poll, I can do so. Just let me know.

I feel a little like I'm trying to run the site. But it's near perfect as is, man, and my lack of computer skills could hurt this board if I did try to run it. Ahh... My humor is a bit odd. Well, I guess that's it. Smile
