Confused It's not streaming. I juggled my cookies. Cleared them all out. Any new thoughts.

Mad Let me be more specific. I could really use any advice on how to solve this problem. UBW will not stream on either the Windows Media player 10 or on the Real player. What should I do? I feel like I am missing out on a lot of great new music.

LOL.. Herb... any emoticon is ok with me....

I am able to stream with windows media player 10. I don't have realplayer and refuse to install it because of their aggressive file association policy. I do have nero and musicmatch installed and both of those stream fine. I haven't had any other issues reported with problems playing songs, so it must be something specific about your system.

The few times I've had problems reported playing files it was a bad 'cookie' that was causing the problem.

Can you tell me if this problem is a new problem or if this something you've always had a problem with??

We'll get this figured out!!

I did have this problem before-
I solved it by using a media player other than Windows, but now the Real player will not stream either. Obviously, I desire to solve the problem, rather than bypassing it with new media players. That solution (the Zen one) doesn't seem to be working.

thanks,

herb,

can you tell me what message you're getting exactly?

also,
can you right click a play button and choose 'save as' and save the file to your desktop (it's actually a link to file, so it should only take sec)...

Once you have the file downloaded to your desktop, do a right click on the file and choose properties, and tell me what the full filename is, especially the three letters after the period (i.e. filename.ext)

Sorry for all the work, but I would really like to figure out why you're having the problem.

Thanks,
Ron

Herb,

I just updated a few things that may fix your issue. Can you let me know if you can stream songs now? If it doesn't work, let me know exactly the error message you get.

Thanks!
Ron

Hey,

Thanks. I downloaded the Nero player and ditched the Real one. It is working fine now.

I appreciate the help.

Can you sing in Hebrew?
