Book Of Life

Turning to page two, closing page one
Reading page two, nothing of interest
Closing the book, putting it away
A friend gave me another book, it's
called,
The book of life
When you open it, browse through some
pages, you learn so much new
Found a page interesting, it says life
is the best thing ever happened
How can I be sure it's not lying;
When there are so many wars going on
When people are lying to each other
When trees are falling for being in the
way
Questioning, reading page fifteen
it says immortality exists
How can I be sure it's true, who wrote
the book, who created the ink
So many questions;
When good people die young
Turning to the following page, it says;
Love and avoid hate by all means
True I'd say but how's that going to
happen;
When people are so selfish keeping their
love inside themselves put away for
others to know and feel
Suddenly a bookmark appears, page

Live and let live with big letters
Who wrote this, for who and why
When people take other lives to ensure
their own safety
Reading the following page and it says
you have to believe to see,
That wars are for nobody's best
Lying creates conflicts
Trees has to exist, breed of life
Immortality can only exist if you
believe that there is a cause of
living and it better be good
Open your eyes, shut your mouth
Open your eyes, shut your mouth
Open your eyes, shut your mouth
And you'll see life is about to
