anyone here able to help with this...
I recently installed tracktion and have a couple of problems that I can't fix.
Firstly when I use reason with tracktion there is a problem with the reason track not starting for half a bar (approx). More precisely it seems to not play the first half bar (or two or three notes) of reason.
Could this be connected with the latency problem? Tracktion is showing latency of 124.9ms which is completely unworkable. I'm using a tascam us-122 soundcard which I've had for a year or so with no problems. (using cubase previously).
Is it simply that I need more ram?
My specs are:
windows xp
2.59 ghz pentium
256 mb ram
any help very appreciated.
thanks

if it was latency the two would be out of sync and everything would sound off and out of time
does it stil cut stuff off if you use reason as the controller
if tracktion is causing problems why do u use it instaed of cubase
tracktions rewire might sook |

The reason I was trying to use tracktion was because my version of cubase doesn't seem to work with reason at all.
Things sound like they are in synch when I add tracks (although the wave picture or whatever you call it) on the screen doesn't match with what is actually playing.
Oh well, the easiest thing will be for me to probably save the reason tracks as wav files and import them i think |

i think it's cubase 5. It isn't the most 'legit' version but the rewire thing just doesn't seem to work. |
